The Cleveland Clinic Department of Digestive Disease and Surgery Institute presents "Endoluminal Surgery: How To Build Your Practice", a Colorectal Surgery Didactics Series, presented by Dr. Emre Gorgun and moderated by Dr. Scott Steele. Dr. Gorgun presents a lecture on how to build your practice around endoluminal surgery. These building blocks may be applied to one's own practice within other specialties.
The learning objectives of this Colorectal Surgery Didactics series includes the following:
- Recognize that all colorectal lesions should be evaluated for suitability for endoscopic re-section
- Identity why endoluminal Surgery should be recognized as a mature advanced endoscopic approach that enables complete removal of lesions that are too large for en-bloc EMR or are at increased risk of containing cancer
- Acknowledge that the field of ELS is poised to make significant strides, particularly in the US in the very near future
