"Sleeve Gastrectomy In The Difficult Abdomen"
- This episode of Surgery Live is a case of a 40 year old female with a BMI of 36 presenting for bariatric surgery with a history of hypertension and sleep apnea. The case gets complicated due to her motor vehicle accident years ago that resulted in a splenectomy. She had a right liver laceration that required packing and reoperation, an open abdomen for about a month, and a hernia repair plus limited component seperation.
